Rev. Dan Holloway

I have been a Unity minister for over 30 years and have (gratefully) been the “Minister of Record” for Unity of Columbus since August 2021. I have been delighted to witness the growth of this ministry through your dedicated Board of Trustees, committed volunteers and a Truth-seeking congregation!

My past experience includes being Board Chair of Unity Worldwide Ministries and President of the Southeast Region. I have served churches in Texas, Nebraska, Virginia and Florida. In recent years I have been involved in Ministry Consulting through Unity Worldwide Ministries, Guest Speaking, Spiritual Counseling, Life Coaching, Writing, and Teaching.

It is my goal is to help people see life a bit differently; to apply universal spiritual principles to find clarity and balance so they feel a true sense of purpose, direction and fulfillment.

Pam Cobb

I have been a member of Unity of Columbus since 2005 and am currently on my 4th term as a board member where I have served as secretary and vice-president. I am the liaison of the board to our Facilities, Care, and Music teams. In the past three years, I have been a part of our growing youth program. I have been fortunate to have participated in many classes, as well as board training sessions.

I graduated from UAMS and then entered the USAF x5 years; I have been a board-certified family practitioner for almost 50 years. I feel blessed that I can continue to work and I do house calls for Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Veronica Carter

I have been a member of Unity of Columbus since 1991 and have served the community as chairman of the nominating committee, chairman of the finance committee, chairman of the growth committee, member of the hospitality committee, vice chairman of the board of trustees. I currently serve as the church treasurer.

I retired from the Internal Revenue Service as of 2017 as a Senior Policy Analyst after 40 years of government service. While at the IRS, I served in various leadership and managerial roles. After retirement, I have enjoyed volunteering with AARP Ohio where I educate the community about the latest fraud schemes and scams.

Harriette Heibel

I have been attending Unity of Columbus since 2021 where I first bumped into their inspirational messages online. When I finally began attending in person, I was greeted with warmth and a strong feeling of finally having found “my home.” I currently serve as Board Secretary, and participate on UOC’s Growth Committee and Website team. I’ve been excited to watch our congregation grow in spirit and enthusiasm for service and transformation while still maintaining and creating a sense of belonging for newcomers and regular members alike.

In my other life, I am a life coach with a background in training and strategic planning which helps me in my Board role. I hold a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and am certified in a number of personality tools including Gallup’s CliftonStrengths, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the Enneagram.

Savannah Lewis

I have been a part of the Unity of Columbus family since I was just 3 years old. Now the newest member of the church board, I bring a deep-rooted love for my spiritual community and a heart of service. I am a mother to a joyful 4-year-old named Freedom, who shares my love for church. I have served as a prayer chaplain for the past two years and am an active member of the facilities team.

A certified Level One Reiki healer, I am passionate about healing, connection, and community. Professionally, I run my family’s 37-year-old aquarium maintenance business and work alongside my brother Chad wholesaling houses and renovating homes with my parents. I enjoy nature, traveling, and sports, and am excited to contribute my energy, creativity, and dedication to the continued growth of Unity of Columbus.

Thomie Timmons

I have been a member of Unity of Columbus since January of 2023. I currently serve as a Board Member-at-Large. What drew me to this community of like-minded spiritual learners was the unabashed acceptance of everyone, just as they are! My wife and I found a home at Unity of Columbus and have found the peace, serenity and love of our friends here to be an uplifting part of our lives.

I have my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Social Justice, so I value the diversity in the Unity of Columbus community. In my 30-year vocation in public education as an art teacher and educational leader I have been an ally for all students no matter their race, gender, or sexual orientation. In my spiritual growth, I have found Unity of Columbus to be a place of learning and support.
